I’m a video creator, motion designer, audiovisual translator, and photographer based in Tokyo. Originally from Krakow, Poland I’ve been living in Tokyo since 2017. At JVTA, I shoot, edit, and make motion graphics for promo videos and teaching materials, as well as client projects. My independent work focuses on motion design and photography.

JVTA 2023 Promo

A promotional video introducing education and translation services offered by Japan Visualmedia Translation Academy as well as their vision and mission statement.

For this project I was in charge of filming, editing (in Adobe Premiere), and motion design (After Effects).

VIDEO COURSE

Subtitling for Beginners

A short sample from a two-part video course introducing English to Japanese subtitling to new students. I was in charge of the entire production from shooting to editing and motion graphics. I shot this project using Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K and did most of the video editing in DaVinci Resolve. However, the opening and more complex text animation were made in After Effects.

Summer of Sugoi

A series of interviews where foreigners and people of Japanese descent who made successful careers in Japan share their stories with prospective JLMI students. The goal of this series was to inspire and encourage foreigners who study Japanese and want to live in Japan to further pursue their passion.

For this series, I was in charge of shooting and editing.
